How we handle your details.

What we collect.
- From the contact form: your name, WhatsApp number, email if you give it, where and when you want to study, your highest qualification and your message.
- From WhatsApp, calls and meetings: what you tell us about your studies, work, funds and plans.
- If you become a client: the documents your applications and visa need, such as your passport, transcripts, certificates, CV, statement, bank statements, sponsor letters, offer letters and CAS.
- Interview Ready: when you use a client code, we record the date. Your answers stay in your browser unless you send your brief to your counsellor.
- Course Match: a CV you add is read in your browser. It is not sent to us.
Why we use it.
To advise you, apply to universities for you, prepare your visa file, arrange accommodation and travel, and contact you about your plans. We use enquiry details because you agreed to it on the form, and client details because we need them to deliver the service you asked for.
Who sees it.
LightTouch staff, and only for your application:
- the universities and colleges you apply to;
- the application platforms we submit through: Crizac, ApplyBoard, Adventus, SI-UK and Leverage Edu;
- the immigration authority of the country you apply to;
- accommodation and travel providers you choose.
We do not sell your details or share them for advertising.
Where it is stored.
Enquiries and client records are kept in our records system on Cloudflare. Documents are kept in LightTouch’s own files. Messages stay in WhatsApp. Some of these services store data on servers outside Nigeria.
How long we keep it.

After that, we delete it. We may keep something longer only if we need it to deal with a legal claim.
Your rights.
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop contacting you. Email info@lighttouchconsultancy.com from the address or number we know you by. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Cookies and browser storage.
This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. The tools save your answers and ticks in your own browser so you can come back to them; clearing your browser data removes them. The map on the contact page is loaded from Google, which may set its own cookies.
